Hi folks! Hope u are all ok with this sh..... Virus situation...
Does it worth the trouble to replace the OEM master cyl and clutch with XJR1300 OEMs? New i mean.
Whats the gain in braking and clutch change and feel?
I have oem disc size EBC, 6pot sumitomos refurbished, and braided lines. Can this get better with Xjr's masters?
Appreciate any medical advise Vmaxers! You are the best!

It will depend on what leverage ratio that set-up gives you.
The XHR's + blue/ gold/ silver spot calipers work well.
As the Sumitomo's are six pot I'd assume that the piston area will be greater than the blue spots so may not be suitable.
Have a look here to establish what diameter m/c piston will get you into the sweet spot.

I have a 1991 model with new but still the smaller size discs but I have fitted silver spot calipers and with the original master cylinder the brake lever was a bit hard and 'unfeeling', so I fitted early model XJR master cylinders which gave a great feel and more movement, I changed the clutch too as I like balance in appearance
