Buying a windshield, what are my options?

I installed the Viper SS-10 on my 06 last year. It does well. I am 5' 10" and the wind catches the top of my helmet only. I have drag bars with very little space and it installed nicely. Didn't set me back to much on price for sure...

150 or 170 for the back?

I agree with you on the Shinko, Traumahawk. I ride the 170 and it is about a 5K tire but stickier than a frog's tongue. I like it even if it is a one season tire. It gives me a ton of confidence. I got about 5000 mi out of the last one and put on another for Spring. :punk:

    Fuel Consumption?

I will throw in my 2 cents worth to average the numbers maybe. I get 35- 40 regardless of how I ride. I do have jet kit and slip on Delkavic exhaust.

    Buying a V Max

Hey Firebolt, There is no way to determine everything that you potentially need to know about the bike without a test run. I would hate to test a dog sled in that kind of weather, LOL! Personally I would look for any damage, oil leaks, fork leaks, etc, right off. If it idles well that's a...

    Sad News!

Our friend Dobie Gillum has passed away after a long fight with cancer. I did not know him well but through this forum and Cycle-istic. I corresponded with him back in April and he was able to help me with a backrest and rack for my bike. He seemed to be a wonderful guy and was very helpful. I...
