    Jack up the bike with no C stand?

    How do you get the bike off the ground with a 4 into 1 and no center stand? just wondering when it comes time for fork seals, tires etc. I have a bike/atv jack.

    Fighting "RAM" air question.

    I have the K&N pod filters with dynojet stage7, full 4-2-1, ram air head wind gust makes it cut out, it has air correctors, what are my options here? modified air box? and would I need to remove the correctors or not, what do have for me Sean? I'm ready.

    OEM set up question.

    In the "OEM carbs, post your set up" thread, I haven't seen where anyone is running the DJ170 mains that DJ recommends with the stage 7 kit, is it too rich? mine has the 170s and stumbles off idle after sitting at a light for too long unless I rev it up on take off, I've tried adjusting the A/F...

    PAJ2 question.

    I just had the DJ stage 7 installed, was noticing off idle stumble and random carb pop when lugging, I pulled the filters, all slides working good but I see the PAJ2's have the #90 on them, shouldn't they be 190s, am I missing something?

    Stumbling at 5k rpm.

    Stage 1 needles, 170 mains, has air correctors, {I think, see pic down below} K&N pods, 4 into 1, needles currently on 5th from dull end, I've tried 3,4,and now 5th clip down, 4th seems best but why can't I get rid of that cursed stumble at 5k ? I'm stressing.

    Air correctors ?

    Running lean, I have the stage 1 DJ needles installed, clip on 5th, 170 mikuni mains, carbs sync, 4 pod K&Ns, 4 into 1 Kerker, It has some surging and stumbles in a head wind, I don't know if it has the air correctors on the main air jets, what do they look like? and is this what they are made...

    Removing lower black from air scoops?

    My 99 has the half polished alum, half black air scoops from the factory, what's a good home fix to remove the black paint from the lower half with out scuffing or marring up the aluminum? I like the full polished aluminum look. Thanks.

    K&N pods vs stock air filter question?

    My new to me 99 has the 4 K&N pod filters with the 4 into 1 Kerker, don't know what main jets, has adjustable slide needles, if I wanted to put a stock air box back on, would I need to rejet? also, are these K&Ns pods safe in the rain?

    Surging in wind gust???

    Cutting out in head winds, a little help please. I recently picked up a clean 99 Max, it has a full Kerker 4-2-1 exhaust {louder than sin} and four K&Ns under the hood, in and around town riding she runs excellent but on the highway at steady speeds like 65-75 it will surge and sputter when hit...
