Torn down carbs,ultra sonic cleaned, flushed out everything with carb cleaner(about 2 cans worth), installed carbs. On start up the rpms are off the chart. Tried backing sync screws all the way in, all the way out, idle adjuster backed all the way out, all to no avail. My floats are just fine...

OK, I'm looking at the Yamaha factory chart for valve clearance adjustment.....the exhaust chart don't make any sense.:confused2: The blank row for measured exhaust clearance which should indicate "normal" range has been observed and thus no shim replacement needed is on the 0.16-0.20mm line...

Is there a chart that cross references DJ and Mikuni jets. I have a main jet with 160 on it and am not sure if it is mikuni or DJ. It doesnt appear to have the mikuni logo on it. What does a 160 DJ equate to in mikuni? Thanks Jim

IIRC, someone posted a chart showing the ignition advance of each setting of a Dyna 3000. I've done a search, but find WAAAAY too much to sift through. Does anyone have this? Also, does anyone happen to have a chart or somesuch showing the stk ignition curve on a V-max?
