    Manifold rubbers replacement

I got a set from PinWall Cycle Parts a month ago. They did look pretty good at first, better than the current ones. After mounting them I noticed an issue while synchronizing and setting up the carbs. After removing the carbs I noticed they were now cracked. So back to the old one which I...

    Replacement seat

OK here goes. Not sure if this is where I post this or not. I need to replace/recover my seat. The guy I bought it from had a cat that poked holes in the seat. I like the look of the stock seat and the ride is not to bad. I do not like the look of the corbin seat. Any recommendations???

    Correct Valve Shim Replacement

Hello All Yet another question about the proper shim size. For example my #1 exhaust measured in at .20mm and the shim removed was a 250 (2.5mm) The book calls for .26-.30mm clearance. So if I am calculating correct my shim obviously has to be thinner. If I go with a 245 shim that will...

    Replacement throttle plate?

Hello all, I have a damaged throttle plate in my #1 carb that is not making a proper seal around the edge. Apparently, the throttle plate is not listed as a "replacement part" by the dealer, meaning I would have to purchase a new carb for over $500. Does anyone know where I could buy a...

    Newbie battery replacement process

Hey guys, why on many of the post that show the removal of he battery do they show that instead of unscrewing the connectors off the coils, they undo the spark plug wirs from the plug and just pull the braket with the coils off that way. Seems easier to me to just unscrew the connectors on each...

    Gas cap replacement

Maybe all gas caps are the same, I don't know, but is there a non-locking alternative? I'm trying to streamline gas stops because I need to make them too often, which is about every 60 miles if I don't want to see a warning light or have the display reset itself.
