Do the older style 85 wheels fit the newer 43mm version? Anyone know if there's a weight advantage?

I've been told the '85 was the lightest stock wheel made. I think it should fit fine as there's no wheel / bearings / axle differences that I can see between 85 and 07 when ordering these parts.
