air/fuel screw removal - need advice

Does anyone know how to remove the air/fuel screws after they have been damaged? The A/F screw heads on 2 of my carbs are damaged due to being ripped out by trying to turn corroded in screws. They were flathead, but now look like the safety screws used in bathroom stall dividers, aaand the brass is pushed out against the sides. I tried to take pics, but couldnt get the camera to focus down into the tubes.

help! I cant even find a shop around here that seems to know what they are doing with carbs or wants to work on them.
