Well here we are again with a bit of a teaser question.
I've got charging issues and after replacing battery and RR, voltage is up to 14.2v @ 1000 rpm, problem is the higher the rev's get the lower the supply voltage is to charge the battery.
the yamaha service manual says the stator winding should be .42 of an ohm @20 degrees C, After measuring them i'm reading .6-.7 of an ohm but that's at around 8 degrees C. this seems ok to me.
Q, does it matter what white wire from the stator connects to the white wires on the RR. any help would be great..
Just seen another thread going to check the earths which was my last guess.
