My company, Lyondell Chemical, is asking for employee referrals for a new class of Operations technicians.
Benefits are about as good as it gets as is job security.
Most Operators out here are making between $85K-$115K a year depending on how much O/T they are willing to work.
Base for top operator without O/T is around $70K.
If you hire in at the bottom base is about $55K and it usually takes about 4 years to make top pay.
Bear in mind a nice house in this area is about $70-85 a square foot, pretty cheap.
If anyone is truly interested PM me and I'll see about doing a referral which pretty much garauntees that you at least make it to the first interview assuming you pass the "dumbass" test they use to screen out the dregs.
I don't want to do one for anyone that's not commited to showing up for the hiring process tho', I got burned on that before and basically wasted a refferal when there were others that really did want the job.
