We've had a thread discussing this. Not sure anyone has one in yet, but it sure looks good.

Only piece of advice is make sure not to charge it with too much current.

Just ordered one, should be here this week. Kyle got it for me.

Ive had mine in for about a month. Only issue I've had with it to date is getting it in the bike. The 12 cell is wider then the stock battery and you need to bulge the battery box a bit to get it in.

Any review other than the size?
Did not know that I can just squeeze it in..
Thought that I need to cut up the battery box to fit in..

How to ensure that we do not charge it with too much current?
What will the result be if so?
Sorry about it.. Not specialise in this field.

My bike is fully stock..

Battery tender/ticker push around 0.8A and will stop when fully charged.

You will be fine... That battery is rated for 13.6 fully charged... You can optimize the charging by replacing your RR for a later generation MOSFET one you can find on most recent sportbikes...

I posted originally about getting one in a half-year ago and have been happy w/it. However, I have other bike issues I have been dealing with lately. Soon I hope them to be resolved.

See the thread for a scale comparison between Mr. Lead and Li-ion throwing their weight around (or lack of it)

My 12 cell is great. I originally had a 8 cell in there as I wasn't sure if the recommended 12 would work but I was finding it was really struggling to start when cold early in the spring. I switched to the 12 and haven't had any problems except when really cold but I found that turning the key on and having the headlight on for about 30 secs or so warmed the battery up enough to turn over no problem. I just noticed that they have a 16 cell hd version with the same dimensions as the 12 but a little taller. This one I can imagine would be perfect considering the difference the 12 cell made compared to the 8

The 12 cells is already an equivalent capacity of 20A with 410 CCA, which looks fine for most of the things you would put on the bike.

what would bring the 16 cells ?
