When dismantling the headlight, I noticed how poorly the original paint adhered, or rather did not (!!), adhere to the two black side panels.

It almost seems as if the aluminum castings were neither primed nor pretreated in any way, just a layer of spray mist over it and that's it. Although I swapped the covers for matt carbon ones anyway, I would still like to touch up the areas before I put them into storage, or ideally just repaint them!

Are Yamaha's color codes stored somewhere so that you could at least have something mixed or get a reasonably similar color? Many people also have the "rust-red-brown covers etc., which are supposedly made of magnesium, painted. There has to be at least a code for the engine color....., right

Who repaired the following parts:
1. Lamp cover or anything equivalent
2. Engine block (I have a 2016 one with the plain gray engine paint, not a special model!)
3. Swingarm

Thank you very much, Carsten

You can check the colorrite (I think that's correct) for paint codes
