Hope everyone is doing okay.

Question regarding Ninjaneer's excellent crankcase breather rebuild post from way back in 2011 (see it at http://www.vmaxforum.net/showthread.php?t=17004)

He mentions using "Yamabond" a few times, but when I look up "Yamabond" on Google, I see there are various versions of it (like Yamabond 2, 3, etc.)

Anyone here know which Yamabond he's speaking of? It is a threadlock or gasket maker or something else?

Thanks muchly.

Does anybody out there know the answer to this? I'd love some help!

Thanks.

I would think that yamabond 4 would do the trick. I recently used it on my stator cover and to seal up the wires. I waited for a day before I started it up so it would set up. It's not supposed to harden but should remain pliable and is oil/ gas/ coolant resistant (proof?). Anyways, I would let it setup a few hours before running the bike, at least.
