This morning I did the DD with the larger retainer and change the oil with Amsoil 20W-50 Synthetic (I was using Yamalube) Purolator PSL14610 Synthetic Spin-On Oil Filter. I noticed there was no gasket when removed the clutch cover (glad I ordered one!). I also replaced the final gear oil for Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 Synthetic. I had to adjust the clutch lever till I get used to how fast the clutch engages! WOW what a difference!! Also much smoother shifts and going to N.

:punk: Phase 1 Mod done! What I got next on the list:

1- Vance & Hines CS One Dual Exhaust
2- Tim Nash Flash ECU

don't forget the intake side too - at least take out the restrictor plate from the airbox!

Forgot to list that one. It was already done by the PO :eusa_dance:

I spent time researching today and I am now thinking to keep the stock pipes and replace the CAT with the Akrapovic collector to go with the Guru Flash.

That's the real question - which collector/mid-pipe to go with. There are some very different designs out there.

Dlcrays has the prettiest midpipe. It's tuned (same length) on all four pipes, and I think Tim at Gurued Gear now offers a tune just for it.
