Anything by Joel and Ethan Coen--their first movie, Blood Simple, is just awesome, as was No Country for Old Men. Just saw Grand Torino and it was well worth my time.

Dumb and Dumber

Monty Python's the Search for the Holy Grail..... "someday, this will all be yours.......... what, the curtains?"

Tommy Boy

Steve McQueen in Bullitt or
My Cousin Vinnie...............seen both several times.

You know, I have owned Bullitt on VHS since high school. I had gotten my first muscle car (73 Cuda) and I was Mopar crazy at the time. I loved watching that Charger dust the Fast Back on the bottom end. I would hook it to the speakers and blast it all the way from the left turn burn out to the Charger flying into the gas pumps. Funny thing is, to this day I have never seen the whole movie. Looked slow and boring for the most part but that race scene is flat out awesome. Both cars were 68's and it was shot in 68. That movie probably did a lot for Dodge and Ford sales that year but in 68 there wasn't a shortage of muscle on the street from any manufacturer. On a different note, Vanishing Point had great car scenes and was a pretty good flick to boot. American Graffiti also. Oh how I miss my high school days. Oh the memories.:punk:

McLintock!, The quiet man, The hunter.

You have to love the lines from the hunter...

Like the convorsation between McQueen and Burton;
  • "Whats that?"
  • "A stun gun"
  • "Well, whats it do?"
  • "It ruins your day"
His Trans Am was pretty sweet in its own right too. loved the part where he couldn't drive a stick.
