anyone knows a thread on "how to change the fork oil"

10/20w - has anyone tried a higher weight - could that cause a problem with the seals ?

What's the deal with the power steering fluid - has anyone used it instead of oil. Thanks guys

It's better to ask first, right. .:whistlin:

I do mine off the bike so I can get the levels correct in the forks as well as it gives me the chance to clean the forks out really well. I take the caps off and dump it out and then spray the tubes out with non chlorinated brake clean and let them dry and refill. I would go 100% by the book on this one. You can find the manual in VMF links page. For oil I would go with 15wt or at the highest 20wt.

Silkolene is the best fork oil and I highly recommend it.

Getting them off the bike is really pretty easy and the forks are better to work with that way too....
