Had a friend commit suicide while i was at a Muddy Gras event in February... Got to talking with a guy who's trailer he was using, he was a life time bike rider and was giving it all up because his son had wrecked and is a vegetable...

Got to thinking that I won't ride my horses because i'm afraid of getting hurt, so i thought i would sell my bike... I listed this wonderful machine locally of 4,200 obo... A ton of hits, but the best offer was for 3700...

Sorry this machine was a steal at 3350, plus the 700 shipping i paid for it... 200 bucks in forward controls and a 60$ double the CCA battery she was worth the 4k i was willing to take..

Well i got back from a 44 day tour offshore, and went for some long rides... I love this bike, rode my buddies new Victory 106 CI High Ball and Victory is my favorite bike, but after riding the Victory, i took my bike off CL and will be upgrading it accordingly... Preface... A Victory has been my Elenor, always wanted one, but after shifting it and the power diference, i think i'll put a Maxgasser seat on this and get it right...

She is better than the best cruiser of the day... I LOVE THIS BIKE, THANKS TODD...

Although,,, It over heated on me the other day while in trafic, checked the fuses and THERE WASNT A FUSE INSTALLED IN THE FAN spot.... WTF TODD!!! LOL... Put one of the spares in there and the fan works perfectly!

LOVE LOVE LOVE.... :p

Here is a pic with the FWD controls installed.

As much as you love the bike now,........ You'll enjoy it more with a Maxgasser on it !

Thats weird, I don't remember ever taking that fuse out..... I never had an issue with the fan not turning on, but maybe another fuse blew on me and I grabbed that one for some reason.

Beyond me, I can't remember that far back I guess LOL.

Glad your keeping it.

Todd

Haven't been by my dealer to see my newly arrived MAXGASSER seat by Rick Poirier, but my friend at the dealership says that it looks great and appears to be extremely comfortable! Can't wait to try it! I'm sure you will be pleased with getting one!

Hey Todd! Figured that since you were in Michigan there wasn't a need for the cooling fan!

I never saw the bike get to the halfway mark on the limited driving I've done. Got stuck in traffic returning from my buddies house and it got to the red, checked and the fan wasn't coming on. Once i got some clean wind in front of my, the temp dropped below halfway like always.

I love this bike, upshifts and downshifts are wonderful compared to the Victory, Neutral is a little easier to find on the Big Twin...

WOW! Is that bike different from when Todd had it! When he was rideing it, it would have been better set for rear set controls. Great bike, glad you are keeping it, I really miss mine.

LOL, he is a lot more spirited rider than me... And I'm WAY TO TALL for those mid controls... The controls now have me sitting better than the Vrod or Victory, all i need is a cumfy seat.

Right now my $$$ Priorities are to finish my 5" lift, wheels and tires on my 2500 Ram... Need to send off my race car carburetor to be swapped to E85, that will turn her back into a pump gas car... And I'm buying a 1999 Z28 Camaro for 2 GRAND!!! That will be my new Oilfield car... Seat after that! LOL

If you use the Rotella T 15w40 diesel oil in the max, shifting & finding neural will be a lot smoother. It has the added zinc that are wet clutch likes. Sorry about your bud. Riding always help me when I get bumbed in life

I'm glad that your keeping it. After working offshore or weeks and months....you need the bike to relax.
