I'll try to keep this brief, and I've been reading carb threads for days now, yet I'm not sure how far into the carbs I wanna go (without supervision of somebody who's done this before)
So, perhaps you've read my thread of "moisture noticed in 1 pipe".. that's where our story begins...and how I discovered suttin was up.

In closing, I'm pretty sure its inevitable that these carbs are gonna have to come off. I just hate to have the Max in peices in the garage, as theres sposda be a closing on my house this month.
I was just hopin someone sees something that I may have missed.

SYMPTOMS:
- Pipe from #1 cyl running MUCH cooler than the rest
- skipping/popping at idle (and at least up to 3K+)
- moisture in 1 pipe
WHAT I'VE DONE..SO FAR, (and what it's yielded)
- Confirmed I'm getting spark -(#1 cyl running cold)
- Switched coils with a good cyl..just to make sure.-(#1 cyl running cold)
- switched plugs with a "good" cyl. -(#1 cyl running cold)
- switched wires with a "good" cyl. -(#1 cyl running cold)
- Had a drink and a smoke-(#1 cyl running cold)
SO NEXT:
- Performed a version of shotgun/peashooter.-(#1 cyl running cold)
- I had a few drinks and cried myself to sleep-(#1 cyl still running cold)
- Drained fuel bowls- *NOT MUCH FUEL came out of bad carb...compared to others. *fuel "Looked" clean
- Turned A/F screw all way in -(No change in idle at all)
- Turned A/F screw all way out-(No change in idle at all)
- again Performed a version of shotgun/peashooter.-(#1 cyl running cold)
- Put it all back together- No change.-(#1 cyl running cold)
- Removed A/F screw again, only this time I lost the spring AND washer.
- Ordered new one from Sean.
- Found Spring and washer on garage floor..-(#1 cyl running cold)
- Sprayed starting fluid around potential leaky rubbers/clamps /connections (No change in idle) #1 cyl still cold
- Drank , alot. ..-(#1 cyl still running cold) :bang head:
WHAT I HAVE NOT DONE:
- Compression test
- NEW plugs (though, if you read, I switched some around, and #1 cyl always cold
- pulled carbs off bike
