I will rerun the roads in a couple of weeks, never can be too sure what conditions will develop. I can be there early afternoon for some riding time. I hope to leave by 6 PM Friday for a dinner ride along the river up Rte.29 to Rte 17 and cross the bridge to Rte 26. Coming back down along the river to Spring Bay with dinner there at the one and only Inn. (Village Inn)
After dinner, about 8PM, we can be back in East Peoria in about 30-40 minutes. Friday night is open for whatever, the Peoria River Front has it all. Casinos, Bar & Grills, Gentlemen Clubs, Wide Open Entertainment.
Saturday can be an early breakfast with IHOP and Bob Evans about 2 blocks away, or a ride to some other place. I would like to leave between 10:30 and 11:00 for the days ride. Leave out of Peoria on Rte 24 down to the Lewistown and Havana area. More river roads. On up to Galesburg for a late lunch downtown. Leave Galesburg around 2 PM south on Rte 41 and head down to Beardstown, Illinois. More River Roads. LOL Cut across and up to Havana and on back yo East Peoria. Plan to get back around 6 PM?? Dinner that night at one of the many river front restaurants. I havent talked with Kelvin, but usually Vmoa paid meal either Saturday lunch or evening. I will also contact Rhonda next week about shipping me store items, or if they come they can bring with them. Just looking to save the club shipping costs if possible. I might try to have a Vmoa Store set up early Saturday A.M.before the ride and again Saturday after or Sunday A.M. Depends on interest level. Well, does this touch on some of the questions?????
I look forward to seeing everyone and still would like a head count for planning.

There will not be a Vmoa paid meal this year due to financial issues. Please accept my apologies on this matter. I was wrong. I mis informed everyone on this matter. I guilty. My hand is raised. I am at fault.

Hey sign me up for this one! I'm planning to get there late on Friday (I'll miss the dinner run), and be ready to go Saturday morning. Anyone else plan to be there?

Weather permitting I and another member here (not here much) will be there.

We're pussing out and loading them in the truck. Not sure really why but I'm OK with it. More room for luggage. My wife's prego so she's staying home and doing a garage sale... :eusa_dance:

You'll know my bike... The plate is my forum name... lol

Chris

Sunny and 81 on Saturday - can't WAIT!!!!

You going to be there? Sweet! What's your name?:ummm:

Look for me! I'll be that ugly one with the max that says 4gasem on the plate...

So weather for Friday SUCKS! Rain!!!! 60% chance... I may either come down later OR come down early Saturday.

Chris

I'm thinking the same thing Chris (I'm Dave Anderson BTW - blue paint with black flames). You said something about trailering at one point didn't you? I'll be coming from Notre Dame University, across the 80, down the 55 and onto the 74. If the rain is REALLY bad Friday evening I will hold off and ride down early Saturday, but that'll mean over 12 straight hours on the Max. Morley's seat is good, but I don't know yet if its that good! If the rain isn't terrible, I'll be leaving ND around 5:00 Friday evening. If you are riding down and want to try to hook up on the way, let me know.

OK Dave, Rain is now up to 70% chance so I am coming down early Saturday and staying overnight Saturday and leaving sometime on Sunday.

My wife has cancelled her garage sale for Friday too! Really blows as it was supposed to be nice.

Notre Dame is a far cry from Lafayette!
Last year I rode out on Saturday. As long as you have earplugs, it's not as bad as you'd think.

If only I still lived in Indiana, I would LOVE to be there again. We don't have organized rides out here in Arizona.

Looks like great weather this weekend! I work weekends during the summer..:tantrum:

Love to see some pics of the fun though.

Weather was good! Did 200 or so miles today and I feel like I was raped!!! lol

I wanted to thank all that attended and put on the ride. A good time was had by all.

I won the award for least amount of miles on a bike... lol Not really a surprise.

We did that 200 mile ride on Saturday which instilled the reason why the miles are so low.

I still had a great time though. Great to meet everyone finally and I plan to be there next year.

Rick, stick with that hotel. It's VERY nice.
