HI Guys, would anyone know of any problems with replacing the motor in a 89 v-boosted max which has a compression of 10.5:1 with a euro 100hp motor which has a compression of 11.5:1, and conncet it to v-boost.
I'm gonna be trying this out very soon as the orginal motor is very sick and needs alot of work on the valves and i need a bike to ride.

where did you get that the compression was higher? They are the same and the only thing restricting them are plugged crossover tubes where the v-boost butterflies normally are. Other then that if you got an engine newer then 89 you will need to swap over the flywheel and pickup assembly. if it's newer then 95 you will need to change out the front frame cross brace to clear the spin on oil filter.
