OEM backrest bolt size?

I have an OEM backrest that I need to tap out two of the bolts and helicoil them back to size. Does anyone know what the size of the stock bolt that holds the upper backrest frame to the bottom mounting frame? Is it M6 x 1.00?

Thanks Mike for validating that info. I happened to have the 6mm helicoils already and drilled out to 1/4". I just need to figure out the threadding size to tap it back out and put the coil in. I must have the tools laying around somewhere, but its been some 15-20 years since I've used them from my old jetskii racing days.
