Can the shock bushings be replaced, or if they are deteriorating does it spell the end of the shocks? Do they need to be pressed in / out?
I have progressives on the bike, but don't know how old they are. They SEEM to work fine. I'll post a picture or pictures in a few hours.

Contact progressive to see if they can dig up some new rubber bushings for you.

I've used their customer service a couple times and they were really pretty good with helping me out! Prices were very reasonable too.

Thanks. I sent them an email. I did some searching online and I guess this is a pretty common problem with their shocks.

Finally got through to Progressive.

The bushings for 412s are PN. 5025-10 and cost $2.13 each, in case anyone else is looking for them.
