I took a ride today with 17 other bikes, and noticed "we" were all riding at 75MPH on the open road as a group! I pulled up to another bike and his speedometer was showing 65 and mine was 75... I am running a 170 rear with stock rim, and a stock tire size on the front with stock rim, what would be causing the speedo to be off 10 MPH ???:ummm:

A lot of speedos are badly calibrated and usually optimistic. 10% is very common, so at 77 mph you're doing 70.

Best way to find out true speed is looking at a satnav system, your other bike speedo may have been as far out the other way as yours, so you may actually have been doing 70 mph..

Are the speedometers able to be calibrated by a speedometer shop? We have a geans speedometer here in Cincinnati...
