I was in the garage earlier jacking with the throttle adjuster by the handlebar trying to take up a little slack....loosened the lock nut and the adjuster would not turn by hand....Got a pair of pliers and was screwing it in a little and the plastic broke.....DANG!!!!cheap crap.....gonna super...

Got some grips ordered but these do not replace the throttle sleeve...No problem with the throttle side installation, but on the clutch side, is that factory grip glued on the bar...or set screwed.....bar end seems very tight on clutch side....i can pull the throttle side off with...

need a few opinions here.....how far is your idle screw, screwed up to hit the linkage....1/8 inch, 6 threads..??...does it screw in a lot, etc....need some ideas...still having trouble getting the idle right on this bike....friend did the shotgun procedure, peashooter and you name it.....runs...

Everyone is always complaining about the way these bike handle on the road...I just wanted to say that i disagree with everyone of you on that .... I'm riding smooth streets and not on the track with it...The ride is comfortable, the shifting is silky smooth, can stop it on a dime, unbelievable...

I put in a earlier post about this 2001 Vmax bike thats been set up for 9 years....with major carb issues....Two days ago I put the Seafoam in a tank of super unleaded...Well today this damn bike just woke up from a deep sleep....lol.....still need to sync but it is idling at around 700 rpm's...

How do i replace the fuel filter; bike is still running like shit....have the idle turned up just to get 1k rpms on idle....or where is the dang filter located, i want to slap one on tomorrow....got some super unleaded with seafoam running in it right now, gonna go thru a couple tanks of it...

I warmed my bike up this morning and changed the oil and filter....could only get three quarts in it...must have been the way it was angled where i changed it....oh well; looks clean......went with Lucas 10W-40 and Wix Filter...How many quarts is this bike suppose to hold...?
