I read a write up on another site about these Ebay shocks. NOT GOOD!!! One of the shocks actually broke as the shocks bottomed out over a rail crossing....at low speeds, as the shocks were quite mushy to begin with

Had my VTR 1000 up to 285 km/h and thought it still had a bit more. Used to like taking it up to 200k on a divided hwy at night. \The broken paint lines would go solid!!! Stand up wheelies at 185 km/h was cool.....but stupid. Kinda glad I don't have that bike anymore...and miss it too

Haha, I just did the same thing yesterday! It's pretty loud now! Fixed my exhaust leaks too. Loosened the clamps, then knocked the pipe joints with a mallet, and they seated better. Tightened the clamps back up, and the leaks were gone.

Mine has the full stage 7, with boost removed. Has stock, drilled exhaust. I just tuned it with my new webber carb synch tool. It idles very well, and has a pretty good snap throughout the rpm range. I even picked up about 60 kilometers to a tank of fuel.

Got my webber style guage last night, and adjusted the carbs. My tuning by ear wasn't all that far out. I got all four carbs to the same reading, and will check it out again this morning.
