Backfire after change Air filter.

Hi guys, have a 1200 vmax 95', nod mod. Have change change my air oem filter for a KN air filter same shape as eom filter, maube juste more air flow. Now when i downshift hard, i have a backfire. Wath you think about that ? Now have more airflow and a im lean in fuel ? Some jetting advise for match with the KN air filter ?

I have a K&N OEM placement air filter, and have not had an issue with backfiring. See what the sparkplugs look like.
