Brake setup for sport bike wheels

Planning to install a GSXR 750 rear wheel on my vmax here soon....Hopefully.

The wheel will be setup with a rotor adapter to run a Vmax rotor on the suzuki wheel.

I'm thinking that I would rather install a suzuki rotor, eliminate the adapter, and put a suzuki caliper and caliper bracket out back. Curious if anyone has done something like this and has some input.

Thats the easier mod. Leave everything belonging to Suzuki. If you have the stuff already. If you want to fit the vmax rotor you need a beefy spacer (5 into 6 bolts) to have enough thread to bolt the vmax rotor and you may end up with narrow space on the axle between rotor and swingarm to fit the vmax brake bracket. Look below... This was my previous setup...
