My favorite old Brit sports car was the Austin Healey 3000. Loved that car. Almost bought a used 1962 3000 in 1963 but was afraid I couldn't keep it running on my salary. Was just 19 at the time and not making that much monry. Could buy but not afford to keep it running. It was Healey blue with a dark blue interior. Bought a 2002 Miata because the color was almost exactly like the traditional Healey blue. They are collecters cars now and really expensive. Liked the Triumphs also but never liked the MG's.

Seeing the Hillman Imp brings back memories of when my flatmate, my then girlfriend (now Mrs Midnight) and I had been spectating at a rally.

My flatmate was driving and went into a corner too hot and managed to roll the car. We landed back on the wheels and the only damage to the occupants was a bump on my girlfriends head and a slight graze on my arm.

Other friends were following and as they rounded the corner their headlights pick up the Imp upside down several feet off the ground performing its roll.

They seemed more shook up than we were!

On a pedantic note there is only one T in Brit.

Nice photo's though. :rofl_200:

Great pics Kyle! Love the British cars....most of them are rotted away up here in the rust-belt, so you don't see them very often. Especially the Sunbeam Tiger! Nothing like a V-8 in a little car....I think they use to call them the "poor mans Cobra"

Thanks for the pics, Kyle. I like the '60's British sports cars, too.
