what other bikes clutch mast cylinder will also fit the vmax? can't remember. was thinking an FJR1300?

the link you posted shows the slave cylinder.
What I am asking is I believe several other bikes master cylinder, lever, mirror post will also fit our 7/8" bars. just can't remember what bikes fir this.

going further into the link you posted. If buying a brand new clutch master assembly in the diagram. Am I correct in that the purchase at $119 is for the whole assembly?

I just paid $123 for the complete front brake master....just clamp it on & hook up the hoses. The clutch appears to be the same set up.

So the answer to your question is yes, it's the whole assembly.
