when I started racing some 25+ years ago, didn't see to many charts around. I had to rely on the expirence of older racers and family who was racing to read plugs properly. Not just the electrode, but the surrounding items as well.

Here is a chart I came across while looking at some other motorcycle forums. It has alot of info and pictures, I hope it helps some of the greener riders and tuners. Its been around for a while but I though I'd post it anyway if some of you out there hasn't seen it yet.

Mine looks slightly lighter than the "normal" plug.


Mine do too, but I think thats due to the contrast settings that vary from monitor to monitor.

The original scan was light and somewhat hard to read, so I darkened it up a tad with the contrast setting. I'll post the original scan too.

Thanks Chris for bringing that up, that could have been confusing.:clapping:
