Speed control

What are you guys using for a throttle lock/speed control? I've tried those thumb locks but the guy before me must have worn down the bar because they don't grip. There are a lot of options out there and just wondering what's working and what isnt'.

Your handle bar if stock is 7/8" a brake a way for $200 is very good, when you tap the front brake it realeases. You do need that in a panic stop.

those of you running brakeaway, which version did you buy?

metric cruiser i assume?

there was a yamaha fjr1300 model along with one for standard/sport bikes.

i'd assume metric cruiser, but ya never know w/our bikes.:ummm:

I've always used the Vista Cruise

I have never had a problem and in a case where I had to stop fast I was able to flip the lock as easy as hitting the lever on the breakaway.

The only option that Breakaway has that Vista Cruise doesn't is the brake lever feature. I like the Vista Cruise for $35

I run a BrakeAway, little tough to get the adjustment just right but works perfectly after that.
