Stage 7 springs vs stock springs

Are the stage 7 shorter noticeably? Or are they the same length but weaker?

They are much shorter.

I felt that the stage seven spring gave me more throttle response. But Jon cornell says he likes the stock spring for a stock motor set up. I might try changing them again and see what i think.

That sucks then cause looks like I have stock springs in my new stage 7 carbs or I have stage 7 springs in my stock carbs.

Anyone have a length I can match it to?
