Well, I was talked into getting into the points race this year by one of the kids at the shop. So far we have had two races (about 1 a month is scheduled) and I took my FZR1000 to the first one and the "2Face" Vmax to the second one. The FZR1000 (88 model) ran well and posted times in the mid 10's though I should be able to get a bit faster on it with a little more practice. Once I used the NOS a mid 9 may be possible. The vmax did better then I thought since it is running like crap. It ran a best of 11.22 @ 120 with most of the passes in the 11.30's. It was getting decent 60' times but was running terrible the entire length. Best 60' was in the low 1.7's

I did get some pics and even some videos of the runs.

heres the FZR - its an 88 with low compression pistons for the NOS, 4" over swingarm, air shifter, 1029cc bore kit, ported heads, ect... Dynoed at 196 on the bottle.

Heres the kids Fazer. Its an FZR1000 Conversion with 6 speed trans, Two step with air shifter, slick and bar. The engine also has a lot of work done to it and dynoed at 132 RWHP.

Heres 2Face. It's even got me pulled out of the seat - LOL. Got some fairly good video if anyone is interested.

OK, on the way home from the track. Best pass today was 11.05 on a friends bike. It's pretty much stock except for kerker and our very first jet kit. It's even got a nearly bald stock tire on it. I did strap the front down which helped some but still wheeling.

Heres the numbers on the best pass. Worst pass was actually on 11.20's

R/T - .127 (best of the day was .003)
60' - 1.663
330' - 4.565
1/8th - 7.019
MPH - 98.93
1000 - 9.187
1/4 - 11.050
MPH - 120.22

made another round in Oklanhoma. Best pass this time was 11.06 though I had a few 11.0's and a lot of teens.

I'll post more pics when I get home. Here's one of me out 60'in my friends stock Busa. he runs 10.30's with it and only an autoshifter.

yea, it's bens bike. Doesn't even have a comp baffle on it. It is going to run a 10 one of these days! Won't be with him on it though!

2 Face is broke - cracked the block. Will be building an all out 1500 engine for it. Got most of the parts already. For now we plan to have another 1500 built for it by October if possible - though not sure it will be done in time.
