Turn signals

Looking to see if anyone has run into this problem? Put on some new turn signals, just alittle smaller than the stock ones not LEDs. And now have a rapid flash rate on left side only.

Yes, its common. Even non-led bulbs will create issues with the flasher relay if they are low wattage.

You can put in some resistors, keep the OEM flasher relay, and retain the self cancel function. Or buy a aftermarket electronic flasher like the custom dynamics one and it will work but auto cancel will no longer work. Do a tag search for " led" and "elfr" for more info

Maybe the other one on the same side is burned out?

If it's one side only you need to check your grounds.

Sorry guys, I should of said the right side flashes at its normal rate, left side has the rapid flash rate.

Whats the other light doing on the same side?

Both front & rear flash at the rapid rate on the left side.

Recheck your connections on that side. Then just for grins if it doesn't fix it swap the sides they are plugged into.

Well I messed around last night and found one of the lights is scewed up. Sean, Mike thanks for the help.
