Looking for a rear shock assembly for a 2010 Vmax. Part # 2S3-22210-00-00. According to Yamaha, there is not a rebuild kit available. Also according to Yamaha it shows 09-16 is the same and that there isn't one available in the states. (2 in Japan) Anyone know of or have a used one available...
This what I did with mine...Halos in the scoops. They don't hinder air flow at all and are much brighter than stock making the you and the bike more visible.
Has anyone ever seen this backrest made especially for the Max? It looks nice, made from aluminum alloy and looks like it bolts on and off fairly easy. It's made by H.A.C. and can be seen at classiccruiser.com, just look up parts specifically for the Max
Hello, my name is Jeff and I work in the telecom world. When I'm disconnecting power, I always disconnect the -48v first and then the return, but it really doesn't matter which one gets disconnected first as long as the two never come in contact with one another. Hope this helps...
After quite a bit of research , I went with an AGM by MotoBatt MB16AU. There isn't any maintenance and it slid right in to stock battery box, has 230cca and a 2yr. warranty. I've had it almost a yr. now and it kicks the max over effortlessly. Just another battery to consider...
FYI... when the system is new from Holeshot, Dale recommends using a hi-temp black silicone sealant at the joints and of course new gaskets at the heads.
Hey, I bought the Holeshot full system new back in Dec./13 and I used the
existing bolts to mount. Don't know if it matters, but I have an 03. Love the sound and get a lot of compliments...Hope this helps
