I put a pro taper SE bar on and it is SO much better than the stock unit. The bar could be wider where the m/cyl goes on but its ok really. The bar end mirrors had to be updated as the alloy bar has a thicker wall but my mirrors were fugly anyway.
Went for a good coffee ride with some locals. The guy on the Triumph said I went past when his speedo was showing 200km/h. Well I couldnt just sit behind him on part throttle could I.................
I feel for you all suffering snow up there, its summer down here and Im loving it.
Went for a ride with 10 other bikes on the north road - first time in 13 months after the quake broke it. In one 40km stretch 350-400,000 cuM of crap fell down in various slips.

It sure is pretty riding around here...
I saw a head on a new Ford Falcon 4.0L 6cyl once with a hole clean through to the cooling system. That was in the 1990s though.....
It does happen but I agree it shouldnt these days.
Its hard to imagine what its like.
I have raced a KTM super moto here on street circuits. One of them is called the Cemetery Circuit! It runs through a cemetery in part of the track.

Paeroa is the other one.

Man I dunno if we have the attitude thing covered here. The states is the land of the do rag and sore armpit walk. At least we wear helmets :)
I blame the US for silly fat back tyres too! I love the place, got family from there (even some military folk) but geez I see some stuff to make me cringe.
I used to sell parts at a big dealer who did Triumph and Harley. Those old guys bought on friday and the wreck came back monday. They were good business as they usually bought $$$ of crap with the bike.
The dealer sold Aprilia and Honda too. I never saw many sports bikes suffer the same fate...
Went on a poker run. It was Harley dominated but they were ok guys. All noise no go but I expected that.
I figured I was the only guy getting the front going light as I gassed it up. I was definitely the only guy in 1 piece white/orange/black race leathers and a red Shoei too!
Im nowhere...
Today I rode it with the new Michelin Commander II. Holy crap what a difference. I went from an admittedly squared off Mezteler (on when I got it) to this which has a great rounded profile.
It dropped into the first corner so quick it caught me out. I had the matching front fitted awhile ago...
I took the back rim off for a new boot. I have a Commander II to go on to match the front.
We have a local poker run on this weekend so time for a ride. New tyres, new helmet too. Better be fine!!
I replaced my broken 900SS with my Vmax so I say hubba hubba, best of both worlds.
Ill always have a soft spot for 2V air cooled twins though. Monsters arent Monsters anymore....
