I don't know if turning that adjustment on top actually does anything.

Id love to put Ohlins on, a car modified this moto into a bobber, so the rear shocks really stand out, just not wanting to spend a grand on them, and the YSS aren't a whole lot cheaper, soooooo..........

Ad says "asking". Offer 4.5. Mileage is pretty important, something in the 20-30k range, that's still only a thousand or 2 miles a year. And dude who suggested 2nd Gen, if the guy doesn't want to, or able to pay 6k, how is he going to pony up 12 or whatever grand??

So, I haven't heard anything on swapping a different front end in. R6 upside down type shocks? Not sure what is involved to do something like this, R1 ? I was hoping one of you bike fanatics would have a great idea.

That looks almost the same as mine, with the carb caps and the quad. With the stage 7 carb set up, it sounds like a race bike through the exhaust, NASTY!!

That looks like a factory muffler, what "exhaust mod" did you do? Nice bike.

I agree, that's a lot of bike for the money. How did you like the Ohlins? 13"s?. I have been thinking about upgrading, did you get a deal anywhere on them?

Yeah I kinda figured that.lookefd at kit, just four seals in it. Bike only has 15k on it, but forks took a hit when rammed into curb by car. Surprised front end was ok, or at least looks and feels ok. Those seals should fix leaks and spongey front?

So, the stock shocks are 13? Inches. So to lower bike, get some stiffer 12s, or I'm 170 lbs. I would think normal stiffness would be ok. 11" ??. How about doing it old school and either cut or heat up the spring on factory shocks. I'm going to rebuild front forks soon, any tips ahead...
