Thank you for the input. Bought test kit to check for blown head gasket and it did not appear to be the gasket. Going to change oil and flush coolant system next. Akron Ohio.

Recently started working on my Fathers 1985 VMAX which has been sitting about 8yrs since he passed. Had carbs rebuilt and cleaned fuel system. It started and idled perfect for about 2 minutes then white smoke started coming out exhaust. Smells like coolant to me. What is a good starting point to...
