SUPERCHARGED YAMAHA VMAX - $7,000 (Huntington Beach)

I was referring to Kyle's magic in the paint booth., however if that paint is to a motorcycle what new tenny's were to me back in the day, who knows what a coat of color and clear might do for the butt dyno.

SUPERCHARGED YAMAHA VMAX - $7,000 (Huntington Beach)

It was probably a work in progress, the best parts of two different bikes slapped together with plans on bringing it all together later till the poor guy found out he got tunnel vision, vertigo and no where to carry the amount of toilet paper required to ride that widow makin rocket ship!!

    Cataracts

Man! I started out reading your post taking short breaths, reading fast, dreading the potential outcome. As I progressed I felt almost a cheer inside, you overcoming the fear of the surgery was kinda like watching Rocky Balboa fight. Each step of the improvements was bringing on goose bumps...

Any chance some rain water got in the storage tank where you picked up said petrol? We just had a Valero station here profiled in a news report for having 10" of water on top in their premium storage tank.

    temperature sensor removal????

Yea, you make room! Take things apart to get to it. Short cuts will break that plastic or castings around it. LOL, I can see the chew marks on it. Do it right, with the right tools.

Clutch Slave Bleeder Hole - can it be fixed?

Okay, here's what I have done and it worked. BUT I could not duplicate the procedure another time, same problem. Too much pitting. One of my Tokico caliper's had the weep, I used a #3 drill, spinning fast, with a steady hand to just take the rust and pits off the valve seat. I also chucked the...

    Parts Wanted Frame brace wanted

Frame flex or frame wag LOL, looks and sounds funny writing this till you experience it. Now for sure, I'll say I have never had the vibration some say they have felt with or through solid mounts. As I have mentioned before about my bike, the added length, weight and rotating mass all work...

    Parts Wanted Frame brace wanted

Agreed! I welded in the back tabs. I have the RMS braces. The frame braces, solid motor mounts and a billit block fork brace will tighten you up nice.

    2005 Resurrection

You can do it! And she is beautiful. You'll realize an incomparable satisfaction. You are restoring a bike that was a legend as it rolled off the assembly line. Look at my 85, it had been parked since 1994. In the pic both wheels are locked up, frozen in time LOL. Look close at the seat and...

    1st Gen V-Max Pre-Storm Run

Thank you! Yea, its a MadMax Enterprise 300mm set-up. It started out at a 3" extention, room for the MadMax 5 gal tank. I had an output shaft spline failure that required a reconfigured u-joint and longer arms. Now its at 5 7/16'. That long wheel base gives it a cool stance, smoother and more...
