well ive been out on my max done 188miles with no problems she ran brilliant am well happy, ive never taken on a job like this before changed the head and fitted a engine saver so lets hope all is ok thanks for all you help its been a blast cheers Rick:punk:

i have its called the one stroke engine........but it only works on single cylinder..........LOL:rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200::punk:

its the exhaust cam she some how was still firing on the pot[3] ,but when on the intake stroke the inlet valves opened and the exhaust came up the carb... i think thats it.....lol

any ideas the best way to set up the valves and valve timing?

well at last i know the problem sean came closest check out the photo from my boxbrownie

cheers again rusty but i am thinking to replace just the rear head.....and notice there are different "numbers" on them ...RIFK00 Y2 / RIFKOOY3 must say they look the same .....but who knows.......lol

your thinking the same as me little hesitant because never seen anything like it before, but will get to the bottom of the problem..............[hopfully] yes never tried to repair somthing of this magnitude before but feel thats the problem checked out the workshop manual and it says head work...

still trying to find out where the "slug " came from pushing i lenght of wire down the screw holes on the cases....... took the engin out yesterday.....what a job on your own {billy no mates} got to check out the rear head.....wish me luck rick
