I have a '92 w/just over 13,000 miles on it. The forks are crap! I've heard in the past about better replacement forks. Any one know about this? Also, opinions on Dale Walkers Power Commander (I think that's the one) and pipe kit? Thank you. :confused2:

Will somebody tell me if Dale Walkers "Hole shot" mod kit worth doing? I have a '92, with only a little over 13,000 miles on it. The forks aren't worth the powder to blow them to hell. Suggestions? Thank you.

Get it welded, have them (or yourself) grind the weld, use some 180 grit then 120 (both wet) then sand it out. Get a body shop to buff it out for you. You're probably looking at maybe $25.00 and an hour-hour and 1/2 labor. It's all a lot easier done than said. Good luck! :coolgleamA:

Hello, I just got a '92 VM, that's in nearly pristine condition. I'm in need of a backrest (sissy bar?), but can't find one anywhere! Does anyone out there in VMax Ville have one laying around they don't need, or a source for old parts? :confused2: TIA Steve
