I just used the proper size fuel line. Call Sean... he knows exact lengths. My theory is that it creates a pressure issue inside the carb when wind makes its way down the vent elbows at speed.
1998. Absolutely beautiful. Runs as it should with 12k miles. Title is clean.
- Carbs just back from Danny
- 12k miles
- Tires good
- Brakes good
- Progressive suspension
- Steel braided brake lines
- R1 front calipers
- SASY vboost controller
- Holeshot full exhaust
- Sportmax fork brace
- New...
The hoses being left off WILL AFFECT IT. I chased my tail for two months trying to figure out a high speed surge... once I put the hoses on, it went away. Try it. Trust me.
I'm running holeshot exhaust, k&n, "Y" in place, 147.5 mains, 2.5-3 turns on idle mixture screws, carb vent lines in place... everything else is stock. Bike runs like a top. I'm at 1,000 feet.
