No, there is no hole in it, it literally looks like it started melting around the edges of the piston itself.

I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know the answer to those questions :confused2: and I wont be able to get ahold of the other guy till monday now so I'll have to get back to you on this one...:tantrum:

Without the factory instrument cluster bulb installed all of the directionals function as they should so I'm pretty sure they are wired correctly. But the way i see it, if the instrument cluster bulb is still lighting up when wired with the diodes there has to be some feedback from the running...

Sorry, didn't take any pic. Got to frustrated and put everything back together minus the instrument cluster bulb. With the bulb out of the instrument cluster the LED directionals work fine. With the stock bulb "in" I get 4 way flashers and the instrument cluster bulb does not light up at all...
