Dilemma about selling my 1999 VMax with 5,000 miles on it.

Any sincere offers of advice are always welcome. It has been a number of years but I’m pretty sure I checked the “run” switch. But wouldn’t it be a funny joke on me if that was the problem. :)

Dilemma about selling my 1999 VMax with 5,000 miles on it.

Please notice the gap between mufflers and exhaust pipe. Both sides. Caused by bike wallowing somewhat when being transported in a trailer and tie down straps were somewhat loose.

Dilemma about selling my 1999 VMax with 5,000 miles on it.

Ok I noticed where a member offered a 1985 VMax, not running, for $1,500. So I am going to offer my 1999 VMax, not running, for $2,000. 5,000 miles. Always used ethanol free gas. I bought from original owner in 1999. Had 1,500 miles on it. The rest of my story can be seen at the start of this...

Vmax, still faster than a speeding ticket

Room between chiefs front bumper and the curb to squeeze through. I made it out of town at speeds over 100mph. Not bad for 1962. On down the road I skidded on past the exit I was trying to reach that would have gotten the 4 or 5 police cars off my tail. So I gave up. Oh, and they had been...

Vmax, still faster than a speeding ticket

Would be interesting to read other’s police chase stories. My most exciting story was when I tried to outrun police in 1962 on my 1955. Triumph 650. Several cars after me, police chief headed towards me and suddenly turns his car sideways in the road. I had just barely enough

1st Gen V-Max Gave up. Please tell me how to post photos.

Can someone tell me how to post several photos of my 1999 VMax? To avoid wasting people's time, I tried to find that advice if it is out there. I'm sure it is out there, but I can't find it. I tried several times to just guess at what to do and each attempt failed. As you can guess, I am...

Dilemma about selling my 1999 VMax with 5,000 miles on it.

Well, time to face reality. Quit being Mr. Lazy Guy. From years of observation I knew that trying to get a good price on a motorcycle that will not start was an impossible task. About the only more difficult sale is selling with no title. But it’s going to be a long time before daughters fiancé...

Dilemma about selling my 1999 VMax with 5,000 miles on it.

I need to post this so I don’t risk getting a bad reputation here or anywhere else. I believe I implied or said nothing major has been done to the bike. But now I remember that about 13 years ago, I had all four carburetors removed, disassembled, cleaned and replaced on the bike. The reason is...

Dilemma about selling my 1999 VMax with 5,000 miles on it.

Give me a little time on the photos. I have to get some garage junk out of the photo in order for bike to look it’s best

Yes I would consider a trade for a air cooled, single cylinder, belt final drive like a Suzuki Savage.
