85 compatibilty

What year MAX's are parts compatible with my 85'? is there a chart that exists? is it in the manual someplace?

I need a new rear fender.............may attempt to repair old one tho :eusa_dance:

Up through '89 for most of the electrical parts. Most body parts are swappable for all years except for triples, forks. Rear axle is different but not sure if it's a direct swap.

Rear axle will swap but you lose nut engagement since the length on the newer ones is shorter.

As Mark noted the body set is swappable for all years. The fork brace holding the front fender is only good for 85-92 OR 93-07. I have a couple of sets for sale in our Morleys Muscle sale thread.

Many more parts can be swapped around with little or no modifications (including engines, front ends, wheels, ect....). If in doubt or you have a question just ask!
