Chattering/ squeaking noise

When going along at lower speeds, in any gear I can hear a squeaking/chattering noise doesn't increase with engine speed, does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? Doesn't seem to effect performance.

If the noise changed with speed, I'd say check the speedo and it's cable. Or maybe a brake pad.

A sound clip might be worth a 1000 words, if you have a way to capture one and post it up.

Speedo or maybe the faux tank front mounts are loose? Try wrapping the front mount with electrical tape or rescue tape to stop the rattle/ squeaks. One or two wraps should do it.

My faux squeaks sometimes. Try pushing down on it when you hear the noise.

Looked into it, the speedo cable was loose and the faux cover was squeaking. You maybe joking but I had a mouse living in the air box when I first bought the bike, (was stood for 4 years) a k&n sorted him out . As for the female related noise boost sorts that out every time lol.
