I need to top off the glycerine in my oil pressure gauge. will generic store bought stuff mix or should I drain and refill?Been searching the web and came up empty. thanks for any insight.Wasn't the idea of a fluid in the gauge to keep the needle steady?
That oil is at Amazon, 2 second search showed Baker B1000 Glycerine, 23.80.
My oil press gauge has gotten down to maybe a quarter full and doesn't
shake, vibrate or anything else but give a good steady reading.
Do we really have to keep it topped off?
Sorry Wayne, I re-read your post , understand your question.
Why not just top it off?
