where can I get a rear fender kit to get rid of the big fender and then tuck my tag up close and more cleaner looking, bike aint here yet and I am already looking for mods. Thanks its a 2014 also

that's what I need, many thanks, can I still use my stock turn signals with these ?
Your welcome.
I don't see any reason you couldn't use you stock signals with the tail eliminator kit from Customized Bike Parts since they sell turn signals with theirs if you want them.
Hopefully a Gen 2 owner that has done this will chime in and confirm that.

Dannymax has a tail eliminator kit on his but he has LED turn signals down low and he said he's not real happy with their visibility.

PS
He said with the kit he has the stock signals have nowhere to mount on the kits bracket.

The two 09's in my garage have tail lights similar to these

My 09 came with larger rear LED's already mounted and can be seen decently from the rear, while Shala's only had a fancy license bracket with built in turn signals. When behind her, I couldn't tell when she was signaling, and so, I bought her one of these to hang LED's. She picked some really small LED's which aren't the best, but at least they can be seen in daylight.

Some underfender kits contain the signals built into the light itself, and I've ridden with some that do, but I can tell you, they are not that noticeable in daylight either. I MUCH prefer the wider stance of mounting the signals at least as wide as the license plate for safety reasons.

I bought the "tidy tail" on ebay. It is advertised that you can use the stock turn signals but you have to modify them, or you can install aftermarket LED turn signals. Well, I didn't want to modify the turn signals so I modified the tidy tail. Basically I cut off the mounting tabs for the signals and then made new mounting tabs that were just like the factory turn signal mounts. I like to keep Mods done to the bike looking like the came from the factory.
