rubber knob on swingarm

Prepping my swingarm to P/C it, and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for getting this rubber piece off:

You will need to get the metal sleeve off as well as the rubber. I would suggest PB Blaster, and if that doesnt work, then you need heat.

thats weird. my rubber came off w/the shock.

It is supposed to come off with the shock. They do get seized on there occasionally.

Yukonerdave, I have a set of stock shocks that I will let go for cheap if you need them. Nice condition.
