The pictures show some scuffs on them, they're the metal ones. Although they have been known to trick a few ppl :biglaugh::doh:

I had an '85 and thought (if I remembered correctly) the logo was stamped in...thanks Garrett.

anyways i read it on that link KJ (i think) put up on another thread, and was contemplating buying some from sean to p/c for my bike...

The factory never made anything other then cast aluminum scoops. If you see some plastic ones they are aftermarket (and usually look different). The 85 side covers were stamped into the cover.

Is anyone going to bid on that for him or are you going to bid on it?
