My bike wouldn't / couldn't be all that it is without all the help and advice I've been getting from everyone here. Thank you guys n gals (and especially Gary) - this is SO the best Vmax forum on the planet!!!
Ok, since the last album, I have added:
- headlight shade for that custom look lol
- twin Fiamm AM-80 horns, the other ones were shite
- Jardines slip-ons, love the sound and the weight loss! They're nice n quiet on idle and cruise, and develop an angry bark whenever the revs rise :)
- front wave rotors with Jedi's adapters for OEM calipers
- front Galfers braided brake lines - old ones were too short
- Slipstreamer Hellfire windshield - much better coverage than Spitfire
- Clutch & brakes M/C Vmax covers from fleaBay in anodised black aluminum
- replaced said covers crappy Philips screws with stainless steel Allen heads (thanks Sheldon!)
- digital clock ($3 from WalMart ;-) and compass ($4.50)
- removed Kuryakin high pegs (they sucked and made me feel like a Hardley rider lol)
- added rear custom luggage rack (thanks Richwrench!)
- mounted my Givi Tour30 top box on it - it holds my lid!
- swapped seat for a Muscle Corbin (thanks Sean!)
- added TBoost (which still doesn't work at 3k grrr)
- put Ricor Intimators in the front forks with 5W oil - what an improvement on the front end!
- Got a pair of brand new Progressive 440 13" shocks at an unbelievable price on fleaBay - love them too.
Soon to come:
- clutch lever mod (thanks Turbovmax!)
- solid motor mounts (thanks Jedi!)
